Materials used in the original artwork include:
Encaustic medium (a blend of clear beeswax and damar resin), encaustic paints, oil sticks, vintage postage stamp, seashells, sand from Shell Beach-St. Barts, sea glass from Glass Beach-Kauai, dyed cheesecloth, stitches, and India ink.
